ENVIRONMENT

To ensure maximum relaxation, enjoyment and privacy of all our guests, we ask that all mobile phones and other electronics are switched OFF before entering the treatment facilities. We also ask that you speak softly or quietly during your time at the Spa.

Health matters

Please fill out online wellness consultation form prior to your appointment and update your details, inform us of any health related issues you may have at the time of booking. 

The consumption of alcohol before, during or immediately after Spa treatments is not recommended.

COMMUNICATION

Please advise at time of reservation of any medical conditions, pregnancy, allergies or ailments you may have.

Clarity of communication is the key to getting the best experience. Prior to the start of your service, please provide required information during our consultation process to receive your treatments.

Also inform your therapist the areas you would like to focus on, and if you have any medical conditions, concerns or areas to be avoided. During your service, let the therapist know if you feel any discomfort.

CHILDREN

As we are a Wellness Spa & and value time out for you and others our minimum age for guests is 16.

BEFORE YOUR TREATMENT

To preserve your pedicure polish, we suggest wearing open toed shoes. If having a spray tan, wear loose dark clothing and avoid moisturising before your tan. Men are encouraged to shave before facial treatments.

WHAT DO I WEAR DURING MY TREATMENT?

Disposable underwear & bathrobes are provided for treatments when necessary. Our therapists will always use draping techniques to respect your privacy. Swimwear is optional for Hydro Spa Bath treatments. Please wear minimal jewellery or leave jewellery at home.

WHEN TO ARRIVE

The time to arrive is advised by reception over the phone at the time of booking or stated on the email and sms you receive 2 days before your booking. This arrival time you receive allows for 15 minutes before your treatment starts so we can have a consultation or prepare you for your treatment. If you arrive earlier than the time stated we may not be available as we will be busy with other clients or on lunch break.

You may need to wait outside on the bench provided if the doors are closed. As you can appreciate we have to finish with the client before we can attend to you. A Day Spa is a place of relaxation so we appreciate your patience and consideration for our therapists and clients receiving treatments. If you need to be somewhere and have time constraints then please book your appointment when you are not pressed for time. Just as you may need to wait at a Doctors appointment we also expect the same understanding & courtesy.

WHAT IF I’M LATE FOR MY APPOINTMENT?

Please arrive no earlier than the booking time you receive from reception or booking system. Your booking time includes up to 15 min consultation process before your treatments can begin. Please understand if you arrive late, your treatment time will be reduced accordingly. Your treatments will end on time so that the next guest is not delayed too long.

CANCELLATION POLICY – 48 HRS NOTICE IS REQUIRED

We understand that sometimes it is necessary for you to change your schedule. However, your booking time is totally allocated for you and no-one else. So out of consideration for our therapists who are here just for your treatment and for other clients who have missed a booking in your allocated time slot, we kindly ask you to provide a minimum of 48 hours’ notice if you wish to change or cancel an appointment.

If no show or less than 48 hour notice is given your payment will be forfeited or your gift voucher will be redeemed as we would not have time to rebook another client. We are very busy with clients at the spa and need minimum 48 hours notice to respond to a cancelation. If we dont respond it means we havent’ heard or read your message and are not aware of your notice to cancel or reschedule. Please be considerate of the effort we make so everyone’s experience at the day Spa is memorable and relaxing and therefore need 48 hrs notice to have time to adress your message and be able to book another client in your spot.

Please do not request changes to our policy as refusal may offend. Booking an appointment at Cullen Bay Day Spa is an acknowledgement of these conditions.

PAYMENTS,  RESERVATIONS, Gift Voucher  CONDITIONS

Payments are accepted by Direct bank transfer or Pay Pal online, Cash, Zip Pay, After pay, EFTPOS, MasterCard and VISA (minimum $20).
A processing fee applies to all Non Cash payments ie credit card payments, eftpos, cheque/ savings accounts, online payments. A full payment is required to guarantee your appointment. Full payment before your appointment is required for Weekdays, Saturday, Sunday and public holidays. Minimum 48 hours cancelation notice is required for refund. 

Premium surcharges apply to Saturday (10%) , Sunday appointments and Public Holidays (20%) and Special Group bookings. Bookings must be paid in full before appointment date.

We reserve the right to refuse a client and not offer our services & products. 

Gift vouchers are valid for 3 years are non refundable, not transferable to other people or redeemable for cash (includes no refunds). Prices are subject to change without notice ( refer to current website treatment menu). The value of the voucher is redeemable against the value of the treatment  and can change treatments to the value of the voucher and pay the difference. Any balance on the voucher is not paid to the gift voucher recipient or purchaser.  We are unable to extend past expiry dates so best to send us a booking request  4 weeks before expiry. 

No changes to your treatments can be made on the day of your appointment. If no show or less than 48 hour notice is given to change your appointment your gift voucher will be redeemed as we would not have time to rebook another client. Please book in advance online through the website book your voucher link or the link on your E- voucher . 

Online Bookings and Couples Packages  are the responsibility of the client to check its been booked correctly (in writing via email or text ) and both peoples details are provided so we can ensure a second therapist is available and we can confirm the couples booking.

Making an online booking or purchasing a gift voucher at Cullen Bay Day Spa is an acknowledgement of these conditions.

 

MEDICAL CONDITION

Please inform your spa receptionist and spa therapist of any health concerns that you may have when making your booking and when completing your client card. Facials & other treatments may not be performed to avoid inexpert therapists can correctly advise on special conditions.

PREGNANCY

We recommend that you wait until your second trimester to enjoy massage and body therapies and there will be some spa therapies that you will not be able to experience during your pregnancy, however you can relax and enjoy skin therapies and hand and foot therapies at any time during your pregnancy. Please inform reception upon your time of booking regarding your pregnancy. We are happy to advise you on suitable treatments for you during this special time.
