Niacinamides, also known as vitamin B3 or nicotinamide, help strengthen the skin barrier by boosting the production of ceramides. This protects the skin from moisture loss and environmental stress factors. Niacinamide is also known to reduce hyperpigmentation and produce a more even skin tone by inhibiting melanin production. The ecologically sustainable babassu seed is widespread in South America. It is mainly cultivated for its essential oil. The seed is known for its high vitamin E content and its anti-inflammatory effect due to the lauric acid and omega-9 it contains. The exclusive rosa canina extract is an essence derived from the berries of the wild rose.
