Spread on the face, neck, and décolleté in the morning and/or evening after cleansing, preferably with the DOCTOR BABOR Barrier Balance Lotion Cleanser, until the skin feels well-moistened. Allow it to take effect and then ideally apply DOCTOR BABOR The Cure Cream or your regular skincare products.

MAIN ACTIVE INGREDIENTS

Beta-glucan is a naturally occurring polysaccharide capable of binding large amounts of moisture. It forms a moisturizing film that binds water in the skin, hydrating the skin and keeping it supple. In addition, it reduces redness and promotes the skin’s natural ability to regenerate by stimulating collagen and elastin production. The result is a more even complexion.
Capryloyl glycine, a biomimetic cleansing active ingredient containing moisturizing plant-based sugars helps prevent microbes from multiplying on the skin and aids stressed skin in restoring its natural acidic pH value. It is known for restoring the balance of the skin flora, reducing irritation and sustainably improving the protection of the skin. Capryloyl glycine also controls excessive sebum production, ensuring a clear complexion.

The other hyperfermented plants (3%), consisting of myrtle and mastic (also known as Atlas pistachio) are typical plants found in Mediterranean vegetation and parts of the Italian island Sardinia that is known for its remarkable biodiversity. Studies have shown that these hyperfermented plants boost the skin’s defenses, positively regulate the microbiome of the skin, promote skin moisture, and improve the hydrolipidic layer. It also promotes skin-firming processes that improve the bond between the epidermis and the dermis. At the same time, they positively influence the synthesis of collagen Type 1 and Type 3, which play a vital role in regenerating particularly stressed skin.
As a natural humectant, panthenol provides intense hydration to the skin by collecting moisture stored in the skin and making it possible for the skin to hydrate itself from within. In addition, panthenol strengthens the skin’s natural protective barrier, thereby helping to prevent the loss of moisture. As a protective agent, panthenol effectively reduces itching and skin irritation caused by external influences.
